I started making my version of the lunchroom style butter cookies over 20 years ago for family and friends.   I eventually began selling them at local restaurants and businesses throughout the Chicago-land area.  But as a single mother of three, sometimes life just gets in the way.  The demand was great, but my time was very limited.
